Another day, another nice gadget. Now I thought my ASUS EEE PC was handy, and by god it is. Having the freedom to Program, type, or just plain old messing around on the move is great. Yet, now I have another wonderful device, which completes the picture.

The N82 is basically a N95, but without the annoying slider; however, it does pack some benefits over its 'slidey' cousin. First off, I haven't experienced any battery issues, in fact it almost seems the same as my Sony Ericsson K800i on that matter. Granted I have 3G turned off, even though there is 3.5G signal across the whole of Birmingham, I just do not use it for the internet. Why would you want it when Wifi is almost ubiquitous?

It is important to note that I am a rather light user of the phone; however, at the end of each day the battery is at 4 or 5 out of 7. On a typical day I seem to use the GPS for at least 40 minutes (I use the Sports Tracker with Pedometer to monitor my walking to University,) mess around on the Wifi for around 30 minutes to an hour, take the odd photograph, and send a good few texts. I only get 200 minutes and 500 texts each month and never seem to exceed them. So if your habits are similar, do not worry about the battery life.

My sister, on the other hand, seems to have her N95 turned off for the whole of the time; talk about an issue!
